Tales From The Storystream eBook Jamie Brindle Devon Strayer

Tales From the Storystream - Another well written, interesting book with an interesting plot and characters. I've enjoyed all the books I've read by the author.

All Quiet In The Western Fold - How funny, using stories as characters.
This is my first story by this author and I had fun reading it. I've read some far out stuff in my decades, but this short story is original. A story was murdered and the other stories weren't talking or acting normal; all the darkness replaced with light. LOL. This was well written and entertaining. I got this book from some website or Instafreebie or Bookfunnel, can't remember.

A Treatise On Blood And Iron - A different read.
I read All Quiet In The Western Fold first so that gave me a foundation for ATOB&I; but it's not necessary, just informative. ATOB&I is an interesting read, and since it's 484 pages, I appreciated the fact the book was broken up into smaller stories. A good book to pick up and put down as time/life demands. Although I didn't read it in one sitting, I enjoyed the book immensely. A well written, thought out, twisting story with interesting characters. If you've seen the movie Big Fish, you can handle this book easily. After reading AQITWF, I contacted the author to review future books.

Tales From The Storystream eBook Jamie Brindle Devon Strayer Reviews

I found this book a little strange and something a bit different but was a fantastic read none-the-less. Really looking forward to reading mroe from this author.
Unlimited although got a free copy which the kindle for pc with audio plug in did not want to open {actually to be fair, it didn't want to open anything at all and kept crashing} so had to use the ku and the cloud to read it.

Was never quite sure which way to look, so to speak, and kept trying to figure out genre...reimagined fairy tales sort of, fantasy sort of, but no matter, quite enjoyed it and look forward to the next one. Was definitely under my 'something a bit different and then some'. Bit odd title though.

Bit of a mix up with me, read A Treatise on Blood and Iron A Treatise On Blood And Iron (Tales From The Storystream Book 1) , I thought, but had read Tales From The Storystream which is MAYBE 2, still not really sure, the writer had read the review and said he was going to do something about the title/book confusion. They are both eye crossing pay attention but did like them both, and yes went back to pull the other one to make sure they were not the same. Reminds me, a little, of the Arabian Nights type sort of never ending story line type thing.

So...All Quiet In The Western Fold (Tales From The Storystream Book 0) A Treatise on Blood and Iron A Treatise On Blood And Iron (Tales From The Storystream Book 1) and there is Tales From The Storystream 2?? THIS ONE IS THE 2>>
A series of odd, unusual and magical stories. There were no "lemons" in this bunch. I particularly enjoyed the Quince stories which are delightful but altogether impossible to describe except they do include souls. I did get a free copy in return for a honest review.
There are about 19 short stories to complete this book. Some stories are quite interesting, and some have you wondering, "What am I reading?!" The writing is good, but I don't think I was the intended audience. I have 3 favorite stories 2 stories of Quince and 1 of Jhest. If you like quirky, short stories then this book is for you. *I received a copy for an honest review.*
I really enjoyed this book as a paramedic often there are not times to sit down and read books. Which is why it often takes me months to finish the longer ones. I found that the short stories were interesting and fun. All of them had their own quirky personalities and while some were harder to follow than others there was always Quince just around the corner with his unique charm. You never knew what was coming next and some of them really made you think.

A fun and playful read with stories to make you think. I really enjoyed it. I received a free version and then decided to buy it anyway as the stories resonate with me. Well worth a read and shows you different parts of the worlds visited in Blood and Iron.
This is full of short and odd but compelling stories. Some made me laugh, say "what?" and some scratch my head. But I thought all were fun to read. All where a little bit different but great to read at work or when I only had a little bit of time. Well written and easy to read with just enough character to tease me. They were all a different length too. I received a free copy and my honest review is - A great read if you love short stories that are different but fun to read.
A set of short stories that make you ponder on normal things, but also on the unusual.
Each story has something to tell and can be read independently. Contemplating about life and life's choices the "Tales from the Storystream" I took my time reading them, but I found a depth that is often unusual in such stories.
I honestly enjoyed the tales, which I had received as a present, but I needed time for each of them to settle.
Compared to other books by Jamie Brindle I found this a lot more philosophical, but maybe that was simply because the stories are shorter and the message is less buried.
